Applying for Cycles:
           
 

To apply for supercomputing time, please:

  1. Write a one-page proposal outlining your project.

  2. Include expected disk space requirements and CPU cycles required for completion of the project.

  3. If software must be installed on the cluster, include a description of the software and a link to or copy of any required licenses. (MCBI will need to review all software licenses for compatibility with University policy.)

  4. Supply a plan for obtaining grant funding for supercomputing costs for an extended project. See Costs.

  5. Choose a cluster and read and fill out the documents listed below.

  6. Send the documents to MCBI at the address listed on the appropriate “confidentiality and user certification” form below.
