MCBI Bioinformatics contacts database

MCBI is constructing a web-accessible database of contacts in academia and industry who use bioinformatics in different areas. The database will contain the following information:

• Researchers in genomics and gene expression
• Researchers in proteomics
• Researchers in structural biology
• Researchers in bioinformatics and infrastructure development
• Researchers in animal models
• Michigan biotechnology companies and their products
• Michigan biotechnology researchers and their expertise

Researchers in industry and academia will have access to the database through password-protected user groups. We expect the database to be up and running by May 14th.

Database access is offered for research and collaboration purposes only, and should not be used as a mechanism for generating sales contacts. However, MCBI does evaluate product offerings, and we negotiate statewide contracts for our user groups for particularly popular software products (see software licenses and evaluations link). Please contact us directly about software evaluations.
