MCBI is developing a web-based DNA microarray oligo probe database. Oligonucleotide probes will be designed for all genes in a specified set of organisms, such as human, mouse, and rat. Dr. Inhan Lee has developed oligo design tool utilizing software OMP (DNA-Software, Inc.), which is based on Dr. John. Santa Lucia's research. MCBI is paralleling the code with help of Dr. Joe Landman. MCBI also provides probe design services customized to each researcher.
