The Michigan Proteome Consortium (MPC) supports academic and industrial life-sciences investigators in Michigan by providing high-throughput proein expression profiling services. Proteins can be used as biomarkers to detect the earliest stages of diseases like cancer or diabetes, and they show how cells respond to pathogens, chemicals or aging.

  • Analysis of membrane proteins, bacterial pathogens, tumor and tissue samples.
  • High-throughput protein expression profiling services.
  • Protein interaction maps.
  • Yeast two-hybrid library screening.
  • Protein microarrays.
  • Mapping of sites of post-translational modifications.
  • LC MS, LC MS/MS, FTMS, 2D gel eletrophoresis and image analysis.
